The Offer Management System is a cloud-based software tool developed by PCH Innovations for Siemens Energy, designed to simplify and streamline the tender management process.
The system addresses the increasing pressure placed on teams operating in a fast-paced industrial environment, where inaccurate or incomplete information can have critical consequences.

My role:
Digital designer responsible for the interface redesign and refinement of the UX flow.

The Challenge

As the industry accelerates, tender management teams face growing complexity and information overload.
The existing system struggled to support clarity, accuracy, and ease of use, leading to inefficiencies and a higher risk of costly errors.

The key challenge was to redesign the interface in a way that:
  • Reduced cognitive load
  • Improved readability and information hierarchy
  • Supported complex workflows without overwhelming the user



Design Approach

The redesign focused on clarity, flexibility, and accessibility.
Rather than introducing unnecessary visual complexity, the goal was to create a calm and structured interface that supports decision-making in high-stakes contexts.

  • Customization to adapt to different user need
Interface & UX Improvements

The new interface introduces both light and dark modes, offering visual comfort across working conditions.
In addition to usability benefits, the dark mode was designed with energy efficiency in mind, contributing to a lighter digital carbon footprint.

A sans-serif typeface was selected to maximize legibility across dense information views.

To improve project oversight, the system adopts a Kanban board view, enabling users to quickly understand the status and progression of ongoing tenders.
This layout provides immediate clarity while supporting complex, multi-stage workflows.


Modular System & Analytics

The interface is built around modular widgets, allowing users to customize their dashboards based on their role and priorities. This flexibility equips teams with tailored analytics and insights, enhancing efficiency and supporting better decision-making throughout the tender process.

Results & Reflection

The redesigned Offer Management System delivers a clearer, more resilient user experience for enterprise-scale tender management. By prioritizing readability and modularity, the interface reduces friction in daily workflows and supports greater accuracy in high-pressure environments.

From a design perspective, this project reinforced the importance of restraint and structure in enterprise UX. Designing for critical systems means balancing flexibility with reliability, ensuring that customization never comes at the cost of clarity or trust.
